Lindsay Matteson is the Bar Manager at Barnacle and The Walrus and The Carpenter in Seattle, WA. She is the former head bartender at Amor y Amargo in New York City and has worked as a bartender at such award-winning bars as the Flatiron Lounge, Pouring Ribbons, and canon.

Lindsay teaches internationally for bartenders on the overlap of mindfulness, theater, and bartending, as well as bitters and amari. She has consulted on bar programs and trained hundreds of bartenders nationally with Movers and Shakers Consulting.

Lindsay holds a B. A. in Literature- Theatre from Reed College and has trained and performed at such renowned theaters as Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College and the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She is also a painter and during the pandemic created and printed a book of her cocktail paintings and recipes. She also has advanced training in Jungian inner child work, shadow work, and trauma healing techniques.
